Clare,
There are a number of similar dial-up options available. Try http://www.freeukdialup.com/ for example - salient details are:

Telephone Number   0845 055 1861
Username: free
Password: free

And you may even find either dial-up option works in your new place having failed at your old one - worth a try anyway!

I am out the other side and back on broadband!!! Thanks for the replies Nick and Joe which, unfortunately I've only just picked up but I did try dialup on a couple of accounts from here but no go. Having said that I've been too busy and too kna...tired to do much anyway but I have missed it. To be fair to Plusnet and BT they said 12th and 12th it was. This house has now presented me with yet more technical queries so I'm sure there will be yet more questions!

Hi Clare

Glad to hear you made it through and out the other side! I hope you don't have too many boxes left to deal with. Plusnet does sound like a pretty reliable ISP. I'll have to bear them in mind.
