Is it possible to place a letter in my printer and then copy to my laptop and then send as a e-mail?.

Not in the way you are thinking!

If you have a Printer/Scanner and OCR software, then you can do what you ask fairly easily. Otherwise it is only possible to laboriously copy your letter to an empty e-mail page.

Or, you can use your scanner to scan the letter into a photo/graphics program, and save as a .png or .jpg at 300 dpi, then send the resultant picture of your letter as an e-mail attachment to your client. They would need a photo/graphics program to view and read the letter.

Some Office programs have built in OCR capabilities, but you would still need a scanner!

Either way, you will need a Scanner!
