Slow Motion When Playing a Disc
« on: February 18, 2013, 06:37:32 PM »
Is there anyway you can play a video disc in slow motion.I have quite a number of discs on which I have recorded golf tournaments and would like to be able to play some parts back in slow motion to study the action of the top players.

Depends on the software. You can, for instance, play back at 0.5 and 0.25 speed in VLC Media Player (http://videolan.org), which is my favourite free DVD player. The controls you need are on the Playback > Speed menu, which can be accessed by right-clicking the screen if the menu bar itself isn't visible.

My pleasure. You'll find VLC Media Player will play just about any video file too - and of course it's completely free, which is always important...  :smiley
