My "Reply 7" stated that a re-start could sort the driver issue out. I don't know why it is now opening when you insert it, normally you would get an option box to select what you want to do?
ntfs is the one you want......When you were having problems earlier, i suggested fat 32 it see if it would clear the trouble.....But now that it is working, ntfs is the format to use.
But if the drive is now working (accepting data) then there is no need to format the drive!

Just one more question please, the total contents on my ssd amount to about 40GB,if I purchase a 64GB Flash Drive will I be able to take a "Shadow Copy"of the entire contents and if so is SanDisk a good stable to stick with. When it says "Shadow Copy"I assume it does mean the whole caboozle or am I mistaken?.

Having never tried it with a flash drive, I can't say for certain.....But the wording "Shadow copy" would indicate a full copy is possible.
The best way to find out is to do it! :smiley
