PC Benchmark Score
« on: April 30, 2012, 01:33:59 PM »
I carried out a benchmark test on my PC and was given the following result

30/04/2012 14:26:23

Microsoft Windows 7 Home Premium
Intel Core i3 540 3.07GHz @ 3067 MHz
Graphics Card: Intel(R) HD Graphics

5048 MB System RAM (Score: 137)
- RAM Speed: 6061 MB/s

CPU Tests (Score: 391)
- Floating Point Operations/Second: 102957984
- Integer Operations/Second: 319980700
- MD5 Hashes Generated/Second: 871883

Graphics Tests (Score: 33)
- 3D Frames Per Second: 114

Hardware Tests (Score: 27)
- Primary Partition Capacity: 222 GB
- Drive Write Speed: 109 MB/s

Overall Score: 588

Is this a pretty standard score for PC performance or is my PC underperforming ?

It is almost impossible to answer that question, as every single PC ever made will give different benchmark readings, because there are infinite variables to take into account. But what you can do is check your overall score against other PC's that used the same benchmarking software (If you know where to find the list to compare?). Or you can take each benchmark individually and check them against various lists found on the NET, to see how your cpu/memory/graphics card etc compare.....Here is a google page that may or may not help:,or.r_gc.r_pw.,cf.osb&fp=caf3e51a1974888&biw=1247&bih=942
