Chrome Web Store Query
« on: March 21, 2012, 12:08:11 PM »
Does anyone have experience of the Google Chrome Web Store ?

If so do you know if it is compatible with other "reincarnations" of the Chrome web browser, which are based on the chromium project, or does it only work with the official chrome browser.

I use Opera as my main browser as well. I can't use Chrome as for some reason it doesn't work. (it did initially). Thats why I have SRware Iron as my second choice (a chrome variant).

The only problem I have with Opera is that when I try to print, the printing produced is very small. But when I print with SRware Iron and IE the printed text is normal. (not quite sure why that is)

I have never used the print option in Opera, but looking at it:

Go to Print/Print Options, and where it says "Scale print to", change the box % option to a higher percentage, then try to print.

I havent tried your solution yet Willabong (I'll try tomorrow)

When I mean printing, I mean the text produced when printing websites is small (compared to the other browsers which is normal sized), I think Text in word processors is normal.

Again I'll clarify that tomorrow.

I finally got around to scale print to in the printing options of Opera, it was on 80 % and I increased it to 100 %.

Printing emails and web pages is now at "normal" size

A belated thankyou, as I would have never gone there without your advice :)
